Sonu Sood was born to Shakti Sagar and Saroj Sood on 30th July 1973. He spent his childhood in the Moga district of Punjab and graduated from one of the engineering colleges of Nagpur.

Early Days Of Struggle

Young Sonu moved to Mumbai to do movies after education and tried his hands in modeling. He was very lean then and relied on meager jobs for his survival during the initial days in Mumbai.

Later, he participated in the event of Mr. India but could not win the contest. He was one of the top 5 contestants though.

From Kallazhagar To Shaheed E Azam

After struggling as a model, Sonu finally got a chance to show his acting skills in a Tamil movie. However, he did not get the lead role at the start. Sonu Sood’s first movie Kallazhagar in which he did a supporting role.
