Following a “Gwalior bandh” call made by the Hindu Mahasabha on the day of the match and protests by other organizations, the orders will be in effect until October 7.
On Wednesday, a protest organized by the right-wing group called for the match on Sunday to be canceled because of “atrocities” committed against Hindus in Bangladesh, which saw violent demonstrations, political upheaval, and a change in the government in August.
