GST Collection: Goods and Services Collection Tax collection figures have come out. Goods and Services Collection stood at Rs 1.73 lakh crore in September 2024, which is 6.5 percent higher than Rs 1.63 lakh crore in the same period last year. GST collection was Rs 1.74 lakh crore in August 2024. After the release of GST refunds, the total collection has increased by 4 percent to Rs 1.53 lakh crore in the month of September.
GST Collection of Rs 10.72 lakh crore in the first half
In the first month of the financial year 2024-25, April saw a Goods and Services Collection Tax collection of Rs 2.10 lakh crore, which is an all-time high. But since then, there has been a decline in the collection. The collection was Rs 1.73 lakh crore in May 2024, Rs 1.6 lakh crore in June, Rs 1.82 lakh crore in July 2024, Rs 1.74 lakh crore in August. The total Goods and Services Collection Tax collection in the first half of the current financial year has been Rs 10.72 lakh crore.
