Telangana Government Sent Notice To Diljit Dosanjh Before The Live Show

Singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has been in the news for some time now for his live concert ‘Dil-Luminati Tour’. Many pictures and videos of his concert can be seen on social media. In which the love of the fans for him was clearly visible. After Delhi, the singer’s live show is going to be held in Hyderabad today, on 15th November, for which people are very excited. However, even before the concert started, a notice has been issued to Diljit by the Telangana government. Let us know what is the matter?

According to media reports, Diljit Dosanjh’s live concert is to be held in Hyderabad today. Before this, Telangana government has taken a big step. While issuing the notice, he has said that 3 songs of Diljit will be banned. This notice has been sent by the government to the singer’s team and Hotel Novotel.

The notice states that during his live show in Hyderabad, Diljit Dosanjh should not sing such songs (Panj Tara, Kes and Patiala Peg) which promote alcohol, drugs, intoxicants or violence.

According to reports, the Telangana government has taken this step keeping in mind the complaint by Panditrao Dharanwar, a professor from Chandigarh, demanding a ban on such songs against singer Diljit Dosanjh. Actually, some video evidence was presented by the complainant, which was of the singer’s live concert held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on 26 and 27 October. The complainant alleged that during the live show, the singer was heard singing songs promoting alcohol, drugs and violence.

According to WHO guidelines, it is not safe for adults to come in contact with sound pressure more than 140 DB. Whereas for children the level is reduced to 120 DB. But the sound level on stage is more than 120 DB. For this reason children are being stopped from going on stage.

Actually, Diljit Dosanjh’s concert is getting a lot of love. In Delhi too, two shows were organized instead of one, so that those who could not get tickets for the first concert could attend the second one. Diljit Dosanjh had also apologized to the fans of Jaipur for this reason. In fact, his concert tickets are also being sold in black. However, slots are already booked to buy tickets which are available at thousands of rupees.

Children under 13 may not be allowed. Apart from this, instructions have also been given not to make too loud noise during the concert.

It is noteworthy that before the Telangana government, the Punjab and Haryana High Court had issued instructions to Diljit Dosanjh that the singer should not sing songs promoting alcohol, drugs or gun culture during his live shows. The notice states that if Diljit sings such songs in his concert, legal action will be taken against him.
