Google’s CEO asked employees to spend 4 hours with Bard

After a hasty introduction of Bard, the chief executive officer of Google, Sundar Pichai is attempting to get back faith in its ChatGPT opponent.

Pichai in an email revealed that they must check the AI-powered chatbot as ChatGPT’s vogue as well as capable business to grow swiftly. After a week of the launch of Google’s AI chatbot Bard, this email got released. 

The AI chatbot, Bard gave the wrong answer at the time of presentation. Soon after the demo was unsuccessful, its stock fell significantly, which left the stakeholders as well as investors in shock.

Sundar Pichai asked staff to give two to four hours of time to the AI chatbot to enhance its technology. The firm is expected to give a detailed plan next week. He has also given a reminder to the staff of Google that it has not often been the first to launch a product, but has not bound its capability to win. 

The uncomfortably exciting time

In the email by Pichchai, he went on further stating that this is an “uncomfortably exciting” time, mentioning the “problem related to the Bard’s launch.”

The letter also highlights that. “I know this time is uncomfortably exciting and that is to be anticipated: the basic technology is developing swiftly with much more capability…

Some of the products that we launched were not first to the market. But, they grasped the strength as they resolved the significant user requirements and were made on deep technical things.”

Pichai was mentioning its leading position in the search market. In the beginning of 2000s, many search engines resided in the market, but at this time Google has acquired 90% of the market.

It is not the developer of Android, as it bought it at an initial phase. In that time, the market was led by Blackberry and Nokia custom OS (operating systems), but at this time, Android has the biggest mobile OS market share.
