Google Pixel 3 Lite phones pass FCC

Google’s next plan for its Pixel 3 phones has not been officially announced yet, but the series of leaks and disclosures have actually left nothing to the fantasy when it comes to the specifications and features of the flagship smartphones which aimed for a re-launch in the form of Lite models.

As per the new technology updates, the Lite models of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have been spotted through FCC filings, disclosing some details.

The FCC filings acknowledge eight models in all, which might indicate various colors, storage capacities, and sizes. The model numbers range from G020A to G020H, which line up with previous Pixel phones.

One of the filings also unveils that the upcoming phones will run the newer Android 9 Pie extraordinarily.

If you go by the earlier leaks, the upcoming Lite versions of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are expected to sport a plastic casing similar in overall design and remove the dual camera on the front and dual front-facing speakers to make for an economical buy.

To make the flagship variants more affordable, they will be equipped with less powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon SoCs.

What might result in a deal breaker is the existence of headphone jack and the absence of the notch in the bigger model.

In October, before the Pixel 4 launch event, cheaper repetitions are expected to be shipped around Spring.
