Google celebrates its birthday with a retro doodle and we’re wondering if it has a special meaning? Well, it shows how a typical desktop computer looked like 21 years ago.

On the 21st anniversary of Gooogle, let’s take a look at some of the interesting facts which you might otherwise have never known!

— The search engine giant Google was originally called ” Black Rub”.

— Google operates in over 100 languages.

— The term Google is derived from a mathematical term ‘googol’ meaning ’10 raised to the power of 100′.

— Alphabet Inc is the parent company of Google.

— Google has changed its birthday date several times. Previously its birthday was celebrated on September 7 then on September then on September 8, September 26 and more recently its birthday is being celebrated on September 27.

— The first-ever Google Doodle was made in honour of the Burning Man Festival of 1998.

Damn, Google be acting like freaking Millenials changing its birthday every now and then! But wait, Google is indeed a Millenial right?
