Voice Over Wi-Fi Calling In The Huawei Phones
Now the users can make use of calling features even in the airplane mode. As a result, even if there are network issues, their call will not get disrupted. This will ensure the smooth flow of communication.
However, it works only when the Wi-Fi connection is available. Users can make both voice and video calls if a Wi-Fi network is available. Besides this, they can make calls in airplane mode.
Huawei is known for its advanced communication technology and it is a global leader. Users can take advantage of this advanced form of communication. The Voice over Wi-Fi feature was thus introduced in the Huawei phones.
The feature complies with 3GPP specifications. It also uses the Single SDB, EPC, and IMS. The users can, therefore, can enjoy the high-definition call services(voice and video). The IMS networks are accessible through Wi-Fi hotspots.
Moreover, the new feature also covers technologies such as core network and service capabilities and radio access as well. It is beneficial for every user especially to those who always suffer due to poor network.
Furthermore, it will decrease the MVNO(mobile virtual network operator) cost as it is a cost-effective solution. A cellular network such as Jio and Airtel supports the VoWiFi solution.
Now, they can enable the feature from the settings. Go to a mobile network, turn on your mobile data, and click on wi-fi calling. Enable the feature and make wi-fi calling by default feature.
Besides Huawei, several other smartphones such as Asus ROG Phone2, Samsung Galaxy devices, Apple, Google Pixel, Xiaomi, and all Realme devices support the feature. And Huawei users were also waiting for this feature for long so it is good news for the users.
