Honor has launched its flagship smartphone in India. The phone, called Honor Magic 6 Pro, has been launched in only one storage variant. The brand’s flagship phone features features like Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and 5,600mAh battery. The sale for the phone will go live on Amazon from August 15.
Features of HONOR Magic 6 Pro
This is the brand’s flagship phone. It comes with the AI-powered Honor Falcon camera system, which includes a 180-megapixel periscope lens, a 50-megapixel Super Dynamic Falcon Camera H9000 HDR lens, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera (also works as a macro lens).
The company claims that the primary Super Dynamic Honor Falcon Camera H9000 HDR sensor is the first 1/1.3-inch lens in the industry, with an 800% increase in dynamic range. The camera has many features like AI features like AI-advanced motion-sensing for sports photography, self-adjusting aperture.
The phone has a large 6.8-inch display
The phone has a 6.8-inch OLED display, which comes with Full HD Plus (2800×1264 pixels) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 4320Hz PWM dimming, LTPO 1-120Hz, HDR10+, Eye Protection Mode. 5000 nits peak brightness, Jurhino glass protection, 10.7 billion colors, 1600 global peak brightness, Dolby Vision, 10 fold anti-drop rating. The phone has safety features like in-display fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, face unlock. The phone comes with IP68 waterproof rating.
Heavy RAM and strong processor
The phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which comes with Adreno 750 GPU, Honor C1 + chip, Honor Discreet and Security Chip. The phone has 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The phone works on Magic OS 8.0 based on Android 14. The company says that four major Android upgrades and five years of security updates will be provided on the phone.
The phone will be fully charged in 40 minutes
The phone has a 2nd generation silicon-carbon battery with 5600 mAh capacity. The phone has 80W wired charging support, 66W wireless charging support and 5W reverse wired charging support with USB Type-C port. The phone has a stereo speaker setup with DTS X Ultra support. The company claims that with this charging technology, the phone takes 40 minutes to be fully charged while it gets 50 percent charged in 15 minutes.
Honor Magic 6 Pro Price
Honor Magic 6 Pro comes in only one storage variant. The 12GB+ 512GB model has been priced at Rs 89,999. The smartphone is available in Black and EP Green colour options. The first sale of Honor Magic 6 Pro will be on August 15 on Amazon, mainline stores and Honor’s e-store. There is a no-cost EMI option of Rs 7,500 per month for the new smartphone.
