In such a situation, all the interested and eligible candidates who have not been able to apply yet due to any reason, should apply by visiting the official website as soon as possible. Till when can you apply with late fee
According to the information available on the official website, the extended online application process with late fee will run till October 7. Applicants can fill GATE Form 2025 on GOAPS portal.

- Candidates can register for the exam through the steps given below.
- First of all visit the official website of IIT GATE gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
- After this click on the GATE 2025 registration link available on the home page.
- Then a new page will open, where candidates have to enter the registration details.
- After this click on submit and log in to the account.
- Now fill the application form and upload the required documents.
- After this pay the application fee.
- Now click on submit and download the confirmation page.
- Finally keep a hard copy of it for further need.

When will the exam be held?
GATE 2025 will be held on February 1, 2, 15 and 16 next year. The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for a total of 30 test papers. The exam will be conducted in two shifts – morning session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. A candidate will be allowed to take a maximum of two test papers from the available set of two-paper combinations. GATE 2025 admit card will be released on January 2.
