Ganesh Chaturthi 2024: In Hinduism, Ganesh Utsav is celebrated every year with great enthusiasm on the Chaturthi date of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month. This festival lasts till Anant Chaturdashi. Auspicious time for Ganesh idol installation
According to Udayatithi, the idol of Ganesh ji will be installed on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi i.e. on 7th September. According to the Panchang, the auspicious time for idol installation will be from 11:04 am to 1:34 pm. According to this, there will be a total time of 2 hours 30 minutes for idol installation.
Ganesh Chaturthi Puja Vidhi
- Purity: Keep the place of worship and the idol clean.
- Direction: Install the idol in the north or east direction.
- Asana: Install the idol on a clean asana.
- Bath: Bathe the idol with Gangajal.
- Clothing: Dress the idol in clean and new clothes.
- Decoration: Decorate the idol with vermilion, roli, sandalwood etc.

- For as many days as Ganesh ji is seated in your house or on the square intersections, offer him food at least three times a day.
