Eating Poha-Jalebi in the streets of Indore got a little too out of hands for Gautam Gambhir as netizens trolled him for his carefree attitude towards Delhi’s air condition, now that he is the MP.
Yeah, even I was thinking the same, as to what is the possible connection between Gambhir eating Poha-jalebi in Indore and Delhi’ air quality?
Turns out, Gautam Gambhir was supposed to attend a meeting on the deteriorating air quality of Delhi on 8th Of November in Delhi, but he didn’t! Instead, he was busy enjoying Indori delicacies along with his friends in Indore!
Or so his Social Media tells us!
Kabhi pohe se teekhe, kabhi jalebi se meethe … wonderful start to the day in Indoor, where we had breakfast outdoor 😛 pic.twitter.com/DxIPtNqYi7

Sorry, what? I thought India was a ‘tolerant’ country!
Here’s the fun part of the story, people started trolling him for not attending the meeting only when he posted his photo of eating Poha-Jalebi! Before that, no one even bat an eye to his absence at the meeting.
You see the point here? I can, very cleary!
So apparently, no one has a problem if the MP of Delhi does NOT attend an important meeting on Delhi’s air pollution, but everyone starts shaming him when he’s seen enjoying breakfast in another city!
Yeah, I know it’s kinda hard to wrap your head around it, even I had a difficult time in doing so!
Twitterati got to work as soon as picture surfaced and in no time #ShameOnGautamGambhir started trending on Twitter:
Does Delhi deserve such MPs who are busy with Jalebi Poha while missing crucial Parliamentary Committee Meeting on Pollution in Delhi NCR ?#ShameOnGautamGambhir https://t.co/e2zIS86Dsp

So here’s what I have de-coded, ‘the concerned people’ can NOT perform their duties and still not get criticized as long as they stay away from Social Media! *If you know what I mean*
