Experts say that with the arrival of FASTag Annual Pass, the system of Toll Payment Per Journey will change. In the new formula, 1 toll is equal to 1 trip. That is, if you cross 200 tolls in a year, then you will have to pay only Rs 3000. This will stop tax deduction at every toll.

If you travel between Delhi and Jaipur, then one way Toll Tax is around Rs 600. Now let’s assume that you travel on this highway once every month, then your expenses including to and fro will be around Rs 1200 per month and this amount will be around Rs 14400 in a year. On the other hand, if you travel with FASTag Annual Pass, then 12 journeys of the year will be completed in just Rs 3000.
Will the Pass Work on Expressways?
Experts say that there are two types of Expressway networks across the country. One of these is State Expressway and the other is NHAI Operated Expressway. Now if we pay attention to Gadkari’s announcement, FASTag Annual Pass will cover all the Toll Plazas of NHAI.
