“Swara Bhaskar Is A Compulsive Liar ” Said Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit
A few users did not like what Swara said about the video that had no sound and accused. Soon netizens demanded to file a case against her for spreading communal hatred. Even a filmmaker Ashoke Pandit demanded the same and called her ‘Urban Naxal.’

Here are few posts by the Twitter users over Swara’s tweet:
The video on the basis of which you said that man was “forced to chant JaiShriRam” had no sound. How did you hear it then? The “factchecker” who posted that video has now deleted it because this claim was fake but you’re still spreading it. @ghaziabadpolice @shalabhmani pl note.

Swara, the main accused is “Parvez Gujjar” not “Pravesh”.
Dear @ghaziabadpolice , she continues to peddle fake news, trying to incite religious violence.
Swara kindly produce the video where those Muslim goons asked Abdul to Chant #JaiShriRam .
Guys file multiple FIRs.

On Wednesday, an FIR has been lodged in the Delhi police station against the actress, Twitter Inc, Manish Maheshwari (MD Twitter), journalist Arfa Khanum Sherwani, and Asif Khan who is an employee of Twitter India.
As per the FIR, no prior fact-check was done to know the truth behind the assault of an elderly man in UP. It was shared to raise hatred against the religious communities and hurt the public peace as said in FIR.

On the other hand, the communal angle of the video is completely denied by the police saying he was not forced to say “Jai Shri Ram.” The 72-year old man hails from UP and was abducted by a few men over the selling of a fake tabeez as per a report by Quint.
Three of the 6 accused are already under police custody for assaulting the man. The video was doing rounds on social media for few days but FIRs were filed soon after Twitter lost its intermediary status.
