Good news for iPhone users as they can now host a video call up to 8 participants with Whatsapp call feature. Whatsapp has announced to increase the user’s limit in video call a few days ago. But now it’s official for iPhone users.
However, Android users have to wait a little longer to get this new feature. To use this feature, the iPhone users must update their Whatsapp version from the play store.
Not only this, but the users can also enjoy better visual quality and the updated message action menu. Moreover, to ensure the safety of users the app has end-to-end encryption. In short, the conversations of users are now more private and secure.

Earlier, only 4 participants can join in a video or voice call. Now, it updated which means the company has increased the dependency of users on Whatsapp.
Lockdown has raised the need for such online platforms for group calls as most users are working from home. The old versions of Whatsapp lack the capability of adding more participants. Users were relying on other platforms like Zoom which turned out to be unsafe later on.

More than 300 million daily active users were on the risk by using Zoom. But, the security flaws were soon disclosed by the tech experts. After which, the government has banned the use of Zoom. So, this new feature of Whatsapp is a blessing in a disguise.
Using the feature is also as simple as before. Simply add the participants by clicking on the call icon. If the group already has four people then the call will set automatically. In other cases, you can easily add more participants by tapping on the call icon.
As for now, iPhone users can enjoy this feature and Android users have to wait.
