Fardeen Khan, an actor who most recently appeared in Heeramandi: After a 14-year hiatus, The Diamond Bazaar has spoken about the difficult times and depression in his life. Fardeen told Pinkvilla that there are times when he “just sits and thinks about things” and “goes into a shell.”
Fardeen On Death and Re-Birth
Fardeen said that ‘occasionally you slip into gloom, you don’t feel good, things don’t have importance or reason yet as far as I can tell that is a way you track down yourself’. He added, “I think the fortune lies in that most unimaginable cavern. The cycle of death and resurrection never ends.”
“Naturally, there are tough days. I occasionally enter a shell. I enjoy just sitting down and contemplating things. People who know me often say that I think too much, but when I’m down, I kind of sit and think about it for a few days to figure out why I’m feeling that way. When I see that as, it’s significantly less testing to return to being typical.”
Fardeen Khan Talks About Depression
Fardeen Khan continued, “It’s a natural process that everyone goes through,” when discussing depression. We need to guard against the urge to always want to be happy. If you’re feeling down, that’s actually a sign that you need to think about a lack of fulfillment in your life. There’s something that you are not lined up with, there’s a not thing in a state of harmony.”
Fardeen Khan’s Last Project
Fardeen recently appeared in Heeramandi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut web series. The show delves into the cultural dynamics of Heera Mandi and examines the lives of courtesans and their patrons against the backdrop of India’s struggle for independence in the 1940s.
The show additionally includes Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Sehgal, Sanjeeda Sheik, Taha Shah Badussha, Shekhar Suman, and Adhyayan Suman. Netflix released Heeramandi.
About Fardeen’s Career
Fardeen won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his performance in Prem Aggan, which came out in 1998. He proceeded to highlight in Wilderness (2000), Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya (2001), Bhoot (2003), Dev (2004), No Access (2005), and The very Best (2009). He stopped acting in 2010 after starring in Dulha Mil Gaya.
