There is not just one but several reasons. First is the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput who was said to be the victim of the Bollywood Mafia. Salman Khan’s name gets the most limelight in this case.

SSR’s fans have not forgotten his tragic death as no accused have been arrested so far. The investigation reported his death as suicide but his huge fan following assumed it was murder. So, the trend is a kind of answer to the Bollywood and Khans that they are still seeking justice for SSR.

Another reason identified from several Twitter posts is Salman Khan’s hit and run case of 2002. The actor is facing more than one case against him for tax evasion, killing endangered blackbucks, and more.

This is why many of the Twitter users are asking the audience to avoid going to theatres on 26th November when Antim will get a theatrical release.

The movie features Ayush Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, Mahima Makwana, and Salman Khan. It is produced by Salman Khan and directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. Antim is a Hindi version of the Marathi film  ‘Mulshi Pattern (2018).
