EPFO Increases Auto Claim Settlement Limit to ₹5 Lakh
EPFO has increased the auto claim settlement limit for all advanced claims to Rs 5 lakh. Earlier this limit was only Rs 1 lakh. EP FO members withdraw money from PF for their urgent needs of money.
Facility Launched During COVID-19 in 2020
Provident Fund Regulator EP FO launched the auto settlement of advanced claims in the year 2020 during the Kovid epidemic. With this, members can withdraw money immediately to meet their financial needs.
How to Check PF Balance?
1. Via SMS (7738299899): The balance of your PF account can be checked by sending an SMS to 7738299899. You have to type AN EPFOHO ENG from the registered number and send the message.

4. Via EPFO Portal (epfindia.gov.in): Go to the EP FO website and click on the Employees section and then click on Member Passbook. You can view PF passbook by entering your UAN and password.
