Maruti Suzuki E Vitara: Maruti Suzuki on Friday launched its electric car E Vitara at India’s largest automobile expo i.e. Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The high-efficiency battery pack installed in the car gives a range of more than 500 km on full charge. It has a 61 kW battery. The company said that there is fast charging support in more than 100 cities of the country. You will get a smart home charger with the car. The company has said that the new E Vitara will be produced at the Gujarat plant in the coming months.
How powerful is the Maruti Suzuki E Vitara
The new Maruti Suzuki E Vitara will come with 49 kWh and 61 kWh lithium ion battery packs. Of these, the less powerful battery pack has a single electric motor that generates 144 hp power. The powerful battery pack also has a single electric motor, but it generates 174 hp power. You can also get a 65 HP motor installed on the rear axle, which will also convert it into all-wheel drive.
Features of Maruti Suzuki E Vitara
Talking about the interior, apart from multi-color ambient lighting, customers will get the facility of front ventilated seats and power ride seats. As far as the design of this electric car is concerned, the company has prepared this car on the new platform Heartect e. Maruti E Vitara can be purchased in two battery options of 49kwh and 61kwh.
This car will have three modes for driving – Eco, Normal and Sport. Features like 10.1-inch infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, panoramic sunroof and wireless charging will be seen in E-Vitara. Features like 360 degree cameras, automatic climate control and connected car technology have also been provided in this car.
How much range in full charge
The company is claiming that the new Maruti Suzuki E Vitara can be driven up to 500 km on full charge. Maruti Suzuki has also provided a smart home charger with it which will be installed in your home. Apart from this, 1,500 EV service stations will soon start working in 1,000 cities across the country. A dedicated EV app will also be made available for the convenience of the users.

The electric avatar of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara has 7 airbags for the safety of the customers. Apart from this, the company will also provide an airbag under the driver’s seat so that the knee does not get injured during the accident. Apart from this, Level 2 ADAS features have also been included in this car for safety.
