Mizoram experienced earthquake tremors on Monday morning at 4:10 am. The magnitude of the earthquake was reported to be of 5.5 of Richter Scale. The depth of the quake was 20 km while the coordinates of the epicentre are 23.22 (latitude) and 93.24 (longitude).
The National Centre for Seismology tweeted:
“Earthquake of magnitude:5.3; Occurred on 22-06-2020, 04:10:52 IST; Lat: 23.22 and Long: 93.24; Depth: 20 Km; Location: 27 km SSW of Champhai, Mizoram, India,”
However, no loss of life and property has been reported.
