New Zealand has been shaken by a disastrous earthquake. Country’s Civil Defense Agency. The earthquake of magnitude 6.0, 57 km deep, and 50 km northwest of Paraparaumu was widely felt in the North Island.

The earthquake of 5.7 magnitudes shivered the Northern Island with its impact. The earthquake came sliding in from the Gabrielle cyclone. The earthquake made the grounds shake for 10-20 seconds. The earthquake alone was not disastrous enough but its intensity got increased after the surplus action caused by cyclone Gabrielle. The civil agency has warned the citizens to stay alert and safe.
Several parts of the Northern Islands remain cut off after the incident. All the power got cut off in the affected areas. The destruction has caused a major impact and its widespread has caused thousands of people to shift themselves. The earthquake in the country caused the deaths of 4 people including the death of one child.
