Ducati has launched its most exclusive and track-focused superbike to date in India, the Ducati Panigale V4 R. Ducati calls it the purest expression of its racing technology, and the reasons are completely solid. The first delivery of the 2025 Panigale V4 R for India was made by Ducati Chennai on January 1, 2026, while bookings across the country have already begun at all Ducati dealerships.
Ducati Panigale V4 R: Special from Track to Road
The Panigale V4 R is no ordinary superbike. This homologation special is a race-ready machine built for the World Superbike Championship, carrying Forward the ‘R’ legacy started by the 2001 996R. As a numbered series with its serial number engraved on the handlebars, it is more than a bike – it is a true collector’s masterpiece.
Ducati Panigale V4 R: Engine and Outstanding Performance
This superbike is equipped with a 998cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine, which delivers 218 horsepower at 15,500 rpm. In sixth gear, this engine can go up to 16,500 rpm. It uses technology taken from MotoGP. If a racing exhaust is installed, the power can reach 235 hp, and with special oil, it can go up to 239 hp. In a racing setup, this bike can reach speeds of over 330 km/h.
