Ducati has launched DesertX Discovery bike in the Indian market for those who like off-roading bikes. The company has brought this bike with a powerful engine and many features.
The engine of the Ducati DesertX Discovery
DesertX Discovery has a 937 cc L-twin engine, which produces 108 hp and 92 Nm of torque at 9,250 rpm. It comes with a six-speed gearbox and advanced rider aids like engine brake control, cruise control, selectable power and ride modes, wheelie control and bi-directional quick shifter.
Ducati DesertX Discovery Suspension
The suspension setup comprises of fully adjustable 46mm USD front forks and a KYB adjustable mono-shock at the rear. Braking is handled by dual 320mm discs at the front and a 265mm disc at the rear, paired with a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear spoke wheel.
Ducati DesertX Discovery Specifications
The DesertX Discovery is based on a steel trellis frame, with fully adjustable 46mm KYB front forks and a fully adjustable KYB monoshock at the rear. It rides on 21-inch at the front and 18-inch at the rear wired tubeless tyres. The front and rear wheel travel are 230mm and 220mm respectively. The brake set-up comprises of twin 320mm front discs and a 265mm rear disc.
The DesertX Discovery is powered by a 937cc liquid-cooled Testastretta L-twin engine that produces 108 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with quickshifter.
The DesertX Discovery has multiple riding modes, wheelie control, engine brake control, cruise control, USB port, 12 volt socket, self-cancelling indicators and all LED lights.
DesertX Discovery price in India
Ducati has launched the DesertX Discovery bike as an adventure bike with a one-litre engine. Its ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 21.78 lakh.
