Disney’s “Recess” Voice Actor Jason Davis Dies At The Age Of 35

A very shocking piece of news broke the internet today. Jason Davis who has been the voice for Disney’s “Recess” dies at the age of 35. This news has left everyone in the state of mourn.

Jason’s mother Nancy Davis said in a statement given to Variety-

“I am so heartbroken to share the saddest news of my life that my son Jason Davis passed away this morning in Los Angeles. Jason had a true heart of gold with such a zest for life. He was such a caring soul to everybody who ever knew him. He loved his friends and his family above all else. We ask for privacy as we take time to grieve this most devastating loss,”.

We saw Davis appearing in the kid movies – “Rush Hour”, “Mafia!” and “Beverly Hills Ninja”. He has also been the voice for Disney Channels’ “Recess” for the character Mickey Blumberg.

The series aired six seasons from 1997-2001. He has also been a part of various offshoot movies.

He was working on a TV show called “The Two Jasons” before he died.

Davis was the co-founder and an active member of Cure Addiction. Being part of the foundation for one and a half year Jason actively participated to help people suffering from substance abuse.

The industry is in grief for the untimely demise of our childhood hero Jason Davis.
