Delhi Police Detained And Tortured The Woman Protesting The Hyderabad Case In front Of The Parliament!

There has been a fiery outrage nationwide after the brutal rape and murder of the 26-year-old vet in Hyderabad, AS USUAL. People are doing candle marches, protesting and picketing for women safety after the incident, AS USUAL.
And women are still being ambushed, AS USUAL.

It just doesn’t stop ever, does it?

Irony shed tears of blood when a woman who was protesting the Hyderabad case alone, in front of the parliament was detained by Delhi Police, beaten up severely and released only after signing a document which said she won’t protest publically again!

So India’s ‘daughter’ cannot raise her voice against crimes on ‘India’s daughter’!

In light of the gruelling situation, a young woman from Delhi, Anu Dubey was protesting alone outside the parliament with a placard that read:

“Why can’t I feel safe in my own Bharat?”

How do I even give the example of her bravery to other women, given what happened to her afterwards?

She was detained by the police for ‘disrupting peace’ over her ‘peaceful’ picketing. Not only detained, but she was also deprived of all her belongings and beaten up by three lady constables.
The wounds and scratches on her body were telling the tale of agony she went through, during those few hours.

She was later released when authorities from Central Women Commission reached on spot.

Was it less of a risk to step out of the house being a woman and return without being attacked that now even raising voice on such heinous crime also involves the risk of being ambushed?
