Positive Or Negative: This State’s CM Get Tested For Covid-19

Andhra Pradesh: The Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy got tested for the covid-19. But there is nothing to worry as the result came negative. He was showing no symptoms of infection but still, he gave samples. The test was a part of checking the new RTK or rapid test kits.

South Korea has given one lakh such kits to the state. The test kit can deliver a result quickly within ten minutes. So, to check this, the Andhra CM voluntarily participated and gave his samples.

By doing this, he wanted to send a message to everyone that nobody should hesitate to get tested. As per the Special Chief Secretary, Health, the test kits can be used for the identification of a virus in those patients who are cured.

With this consignment, the capacity of the state to conduct the tests will increase. Now, within 4-5 days, every district will get the kits for community testing. The test kits will boost the community testing process; thus, it will be easy and quick to identify the patients.

So far, there are 534 cases of covid-19 in the state. Twenty peoples are already discharged.  There are 13835 cases across the country. The virus took lives of around 342 peoples across the country.
