The novel coronavirus is not sparing anyone spreading over lakhs of people all over the world. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was tested positive for COVID-19 ten days before but due the symptoms were persistent.
After being coronavirus positive he was into quarantine but unfortunately, the symptoms continued, and therefore he was admitted to the hospital for further tests.
An official of PM reported to CNN:
“On the advice of his doctor, the Prime Minister has tonight been admitted to hospital for tests,”
Due to lingering symptoms that prevailed this step was taken as a “precautionary measure”.
The 55-year old Johnson was tested positive for coronavirus on 27 March after having symptoms like cold and fever. He even shared a video on Twitter describing the same.
Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus.
I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus.

Dr Kent Sepkowitz from CNN Medical Analyst said that further tests would reveal if there is some serious problem or just normal fatigue:
“several more variables of lung function and might indicate whether he is just fatigued and spent, or actually in some danger,”
PM’s pregnant partner also had mild symptoms of COVID-19 but sent a recovery message to all saying she’s “on the mend”
“I’ve spent the past week in bed with the main symptoms of Coronavirus. I haven’t needed to be tested and, after seven days of rest, I feel stronger and I’m on the mend,”
Wish him a speedy recovery.
