Coronavirus: The Government Of India Has Capped The Maximum Price Of Sanitizers

Coronavirus outbreak has hit the market very hard and the pandemic has made the world under panic. People are unable to afford preventive measures such as masks and sanitizers.

The govt has fixed the maximum retail price of sanitizer 200ml at Rs 100. The rise in product demand created a hike in the price of the product. The price of the product has been capped at a fixed price till 30 June.

Consumer Affair Minister Ram Paswan in a statement said:

“The price cap has been imposed taking into account the sharp increase in prices of raw materials used in making of face masks and hand santizer,”

The worsening situation has made common man unable to afford essential commodities of life risking more people to the disease.

This is one of the most important decision taken by the govt.
