Coronavirus Scare: Spain’s King Felipe VI Gets A Namaste Welcome From French President Emmanuel Macron

The Coronavirus outbreak has left many people scared and horrified. The outbreak has infected people all over the world. People are avoiding travel, cancelling conferences and now handshake as well.

Fearing Coronavirus has changed many things and now the way western people greet each other has also changed.

French President Emmanuel Macron welcomed Spain’s King Felipe VI in Indian style by doing Namaste instead of a handshake.

Macron welcomed King Felipe in the Courtyard of the Elysee Palace, Paris where First Lady Brigitte Macron blew a kiss in the direction of Queen Letizia as a way of greeting.

The public health authorities of Europe have advised avoiding shaking hands in order to curb the spread of Coronavirus.

So far Spain has confirmed 2,124 cases of Coronavirus whereas I France the count has gone up to 1,784.
