Clothing Brands Owned By Bollywood Celebrities you Didn’t Know!

Bollywood Celebs always have some kind of backup business in case their filmy career didn’t work out, or even if it did it won’t last forever, I mean not everyone could be Amitabh Bachhan right?

Anyways, apart from Hotel Chains, Production Houses, Yoga Studios, Cosmetic Range and a lot of other such things, owning a Clothing Line has become a new favourite amongst Bollywood Stars.

And good enough, I mean we always look up to our actors and actresses for fashion and style statements, so we might as well have clothing lines by them, inspired by their own wardrobe!

 From Anushka Sharma to Bipasha Basu, almost every A-lister owns a clothing line.       Let’s have a look at some of the Clothing lines owned by Bollywood Stars:

1. HRX

Well, this is I think you must be familiar with already. HRX is owned by none other than the most handsome man on earth, the absolute jaw-dropping Hritik Roshan! 

FYI, HRX is India’s first homegrown fitness brand. Launched in 2013, HRX has a relatively good reputation in terms of sportswear and shoes. Inspired by his fitness rage, HRX is a go-to brand for gym wear and running shoes, at fairly reasonable prices too.

2. Nush

As the name might give away, Nush is owned by our very own Meme-Queen Anushka Sharma! *Sorry*

Nush also happens to be her nickname. Launched in October 2017, Anushka Sharma holds the opinion that since clothes play a big part in our lives, we practically live in them. Thus, a clothing line inspired by her career as an actress! 

3. Bhane

Sonam Kapoor’s husband Anand Ahuja owns this collection of very stylish clothing apparels. Creating contemporary, wearable clothing for men and women that celebrates simplicity and the spirit of individuality, Bhane is a go-to brand for contemporary men and women wear. 

Anand started Bhane in 2011 and he called it, “an everyday wear clothing label”

4. RheSon

Jointly owned by Bollywood’s fashion icon Sonam Kapoor and her designer/sister Rhea Kapoor, RheSon offers some amazing contemporary styles. Launched in 2017, “RheSon is not just a celebrity label – it is high-street fashion brand by two sisters who happen to be in the Indian movie business. We plan to continuously invest and grow the brand to make it India’s leading homegrown high-street fashion brand” According to Sonam.

5. One 8

The Captain of Indian Cricket Team, Virat Kohli launched a men’s clothing range by the name of One 8 this year. The brand is named after the No. 18 cricket jersey he wears. With the aim of providing style and flexibility hand in hand, Kohli had launched a men’s innerwear range as well as a footwear range by the name One 8 select. 

According to Kohli, “Today’s era is defined by the restless and dynamic youth of the nation, ss a sports person, I am extremely cautious when it comes to finding comfort both on and off-field…With this launch, we not only aim to revolutionise the industry but also intend to evolve identities synonymous with the brand.”

6. Being Human

I guess you already know about this one! Having made its mark in 15 countries worldwide, Being Human is a Clothing Line which was launched in 2012 under Being Human – The Salman Khan Foundation, a charitable trust devoted to education and healthcare initiatives for the underprivileged kids in India.

Being Human is Salman Khan’s brand. What’s in a name, you ask? Well, google Being Human’s brand value, you’d understand! *Wink*

7. All About You

Owned by the very beautiful and gorgeous Deepika Padukone, All About You was launched on October 20, 2015. This brand is exclusive to Myntra. The brand came into existence after Deepika worked with Myntra’s in-house design team and a French designing company, Carlin. 

The brand is set to reflect Deepika’s personal style, which we so yearn for!

8. Skult

Abof (All About Fashion) an online fashion shopping destination by Aditya Birla Group, has launched athleisure fashion brand Skult, in partnership with actor Shahid Kapoor. 

SKULT stands for Shahid + Cult. The collection has been designed in-house by Abof. SKULT has been built on the principle of ‘fashion meets functionality and design meets innovation’.

9. Trunk Lable

Trunk Lable is an online private label for fashion accessories, owned by Bipasha Basu. It offers products like shoes, bags and jewellery styled by Bipasha! Celebrity eCommerce play, The Label Corp has collaborated with Bipasha Basu for its fashion accessories portal, The Trunk Lable.

The Trunk Lable was launched in December 2013.

10. MXS

MXS is a luxury clothing label, which is a collab between designer Monisha Jaising and Shweta Bachchan. Launched in September 2018, MXS is an affordable luxury label, which offers designs for women of ages and sizes. The designs are inspired by contemporary streetwear and pop culture.
