What is special Aircross Xplorer Edition?
The price of Citroen Aircross SUV starts from Rs 8.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 14.55 lakh (ex-showroom). Under the Special Edition package, it gets additional accessories, which include features like dashcam, footwell lighting, illuminated sill plates, attractive hood garnish, body decals and khaki-colored inserts and rear seat entertainment as an option. The automaker claims that these packages enhance the style and function of the Aircross SUV.
In how many variants will the edition be available
Citroen has informed that this edition will not be offered in all variants of the Aircross SUV. This edition has been introduced in only two variants. These include Plus and Max.
How much will have to be paid for the new edition?
The Explorer Edition introduced by the company as a new edition has been introduced along with the standard variant. Its standard pack can be taken at an additional price of Rs 24,000. At the same time, an additional Rs 51700 will have to be paid for its optional pack. This edition can be purchased through online or offline dealerships.
Engine power
The Citroen Aircross has a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, which is available with several transmission options. The 1.2-litre petrol motor is available in two different tunings. The PureTech 82 engine produces 80 bhp peak power at 5,750 rpm and 115 Nm maximum torque at 3,750 rpm. This engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
The second engine is the PureTech 110, which is available with a six-speed manual gearbox and a six-speed automatic unit. This engine produces 108 bhp of peak power at 5,500 rpm and 190 Nm of maximum torque from 1,750 rpm.
Gearbox
The transmission options of the SUV also include a five-speed manual gearbox, a six-speed manual unit and a six-speed automatic unit.
