Citroen Dark Edition Launched in India: Price, Features & Models

French carmaker Citroen today updated its vehicle portfolio in the Indian market and launched a new Dark Edition model of 3 cars simultaneously. The company has launched new Dark Editions of its small hatchback C3, coupe-style SUV Basalt and SUV Aircross in the market.

Citroen Dark Edition 2025 – What’s Special?

This new Dark Edition will be available only in the top models of all three cars and their price will be around Rs 19,500 more than the regular model. Which depends on different models. This special edition can be easily identified by its different looking design and great finish. This special edition was shown in Chennai today on 10 April 2025.

New Black Theme Exterior Design

The exterior of all three vehicles is in Perla Nera Black color, in which dark chrome finish has been given on the grille, body sides and Citroen’s chevron badge. The bumper and door handles are finished in glossy black, which adds to the look.

Premium Interior with Carbon Black Touch

The cabin also gets a lot of attention, with a full carbon black interior, red detailing and letter seats making the cabin look premium. The letter-wrapped instrument panel is a special feature.

Citroen C3 Dark Edition – Small Hatchback, Big Attitude

No changes have been made to these cars mechanically. The starting price of the regular model of Citroen C3 is Rs 6.16 lakh. This car comes with 1.2 liter naturally aspirated petrol and 1.2 liter turbocharged petrol engine. This small 5-seater car has the option of manual and automatic transmission. Usually this car gives mileage of 18 to 19 km per liter. In the market, it competes with cars like Tata Punch.

Citroen Aircross Dark Edition – Bold and Practical 7-Seater SUV

C Aircross is a great SUV. This car also comes in 7-seater variant. Its starting price is Rs 8.49 lakh. This car comes with 1.2 liter naturally aspirated petrol and 1.2 liter turbocharged petrol engine. In terms of mileage, its performance is also similar to C3. This car is famous for its stylish look.

Citroen Basalt Dark Edition – Coupe-Style SUV With Dhoni’s Choice

Citroen Basalt has been launched recently. It is a coupe-style SUV that comes with a 1.2 liter petrol engine. Its starting price is Rs 8.25 lakh. Mahendra Singh Dhoni has bought its dark edition. Usually this SUV also gives mileage of 17 to 10 km per liter. It competes with Tata Curve in the market.
