China vs. Taiwan Tension Escalates: Chinese Sends 71 warplanes in 24 Hours

Recently USA congress members passed a $1.7 trillion funding bill in which some part of the funds is reserved for Taiwan military aid.

This bill has its own bad consequences for Taiwan as China sends 71 warplanes and 7 ships toward it.

Taiwan’s Defence Ministery said China’s Military sent 71 warplanes and 7 ships in the 24-hour display of force directed at the island.

This response came from China just after the US passed its annual spending bill on Saturday.

China’s military released the statement that “it conducted exercises around Taiwan in response to escalating “collusion and provocations” from Taiwan and the US, after the latter authorized increased military assistance to the island.”

After the passing of the US $1.7 trillion spending bill that includes $2 billion in weapons funding for Taiwan.

That bill authorizes military aid to Taiwan and also includes India to expand cooperation with their latest defense technologies.

71 PLA aircraft and 7 vessels were sent to the Taiwan surrounding region by 6 a.m. today.

Taiwan Defense Ministry said in a statement, which is referring to the Chinese Communist Party “The CCP’s related ‘military intimidation’ is clearly aimed at deterring our people, which will not help the CCP’s international image.”

Since the beginning of this tension, China sends its troops and warplanes on a daily basis to scared off Taiwan.

Taiwan’s defense system is now monitoring the condition through Its land-based missile system and navy vessels.

Shi Yi spokesman for the PLA’s Eastern Theatre Command said in a statement “This is a firm response to the current US- Taiwan escalation and provocation.”

China Saw US Diplomat Nancy Pelosi’s Visit to Taiwan as a Threat

China also didn’t see US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s trip to Taipei as a good sign. China responded via military drills and firing missiles into the sea.

Beijing saw the visit from a foreign diplomat as a threat to China’s Sovereignty as they declared Taiwan as their own part.
