DA Hike! The central government can give good news to the central employees before Diwali. In the meeting of the Union Cabinet, it was decided that the dearness allowance (DA) of central employees would be increased by three percent.
Arrears will be given for three months
The increase in the dearness allowance of central employees is for the months of July to December. Central employees will also get DA arrears of three months i.e. July, August, and September.
The state government has given a gift to the government employees of Chhattisgarh before Diwali. Vishnudev Sai government has announced to increase DA by 4 percent.
One crore people will benefit from DA Hike
An increase of three percent DA means that if the basic salary of an employee is Rs 18000, then his salary will increase by 540 per month. About one crore government employees and pensioners will get the benefit of this decision of the government.
