Maldives and Bollywood have a strong link as celebrities are often seen enjoying vacations here. But at this odd time when the country is facing a covid crisis, many Bollywood celebrities flew to Maldives for holidays. Fans and other celebs found this as insensitive behavior and since Maldives travel ban, they are receiving criticism by their fans.

As soon as the news of Maldives government posing restrictions came, celebrities who were on vacations returned back.

Fans Trolled Celebs For Maldives Vacations

Not even fans, criticism is coming from their fraternity for sending the wrong message and hurting sentiments of those suffering. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is the first of them to slam the celebs during an interview and said, ” Kuch Toh Sharm Karo.”

He further asked to keep their vacations to themselves instead of streaming it Live on Instagram. Following Nawazuddin, Shobha de, Amit Sadh, and many other celebrities reprimanded all those who have been in the Maldives enjoying the holidays amid the pandemic.
