Stylish look of BMW CE 02
- The new BMW CE 02 will power both scooters and motorcycles with an electric powertrain. The design of this scooter is futuristic. This electric scooter has a flat seat. Also, Chunky LED headlamps have also been installed.
- The company says that USD forks have been used in the front of the scooter as a premium component. At the same time, a monoshock has been installed in the rear. 14-inch wheels have been installed in this scooter.
BMW CE 02: Design and Features
- The BMW CE 02 is unlike anything we’ve ever seen before and that includes its bigger CE 04 sibling. Part futuristic adventure bike, part old-school monkey bike and completely insane – the CE 02 is a Mad Max creation from the Bavarian skunkworks that has been built at the TVS facility in Hosur – probably to prevent German accountants from having a heart attack every time this threat passes by.
- Made for today’s affluent green-conscious riders, the CE 02 looks much bigger in real life than the pictures you see here. Up front, the BMW CE 02 gets a rectangular LED headlight topped by a windscreen. The all-electric CE 02 also gets gold-finished upside-down forks that sit on 14-inch fully covered wheels.
Powerstation of BMW’s scooter:
The BMW CE 02 has a powerful PMS air-cooled electric motor. This motor has two battery pack options. The 11 kW battery pack installed in this EV gives a power of 14.7 bhp. With this battery pack, the top speed of the scooter goes up to 95 kmph. Its 4 kW battery pack gives 5.3 bhp power and with this battery pack the top speed goes up to 45 kmph.
What will be the price of BMW’s scooter?
No disclosure has been made by German automaker BMW regarding the price of CE 02 yet. But the price of this EV can be much lower than CE 04. At the same time, BMW CE 02 is manufactured in India, so the price of this scooter can come in the range of Rs 5 lakh. At the same time, BMW CE 04 was brought to India with a price of Rs 14.90 lakh.
