BMW has launched the 2025 model of the premium maxi scooter BMW C400 GT in the Indian market. The company claims that this scooter can run at a top speed of 129kmph. The company has kept its ex-showroom price at Rs 11.50 lakh, which is Rs 25,000 more than before.

The overall design of this premium maxi scooter from BMW is similar to the old model. It has been introduced with some cosmetic changes. This includes a V-shaped LED headlight with integrated LED DRLs, updated graphics and an adjustable windscreen.
It has a spacious split seat setup, which is set at 765mm height, which is 10mm lower than before. Also, it now has an adjustable tall visor. The scooter is available in two new color options – Blackstorm Metallic and Diamond White Metallic.

The new BMW C 400 GT scooter has an EU-5+ compliant 350cc liquid cooled single cylinder engine, which generates 34hp of power at 7500rpm and 35Nm of torque at 5750rpm. For transmission, it has been tuned with a CVT gearbox. The top speed of the scooter is 129kmph.

The premium scooter gets a 10.25-inch TFT instrument console that gives information related to speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, trip meter, clock and other basic readouts. It also gets smartphone connectivity features through the BMW Connectivity Pro package. The scooter also features ride-by-wire throttle and keyless ignition. Rider aid features like cornering ABS, traction control and engine drag torque control (MSR) are also provided in it.
This BMW scooter has a small compartment on the left side of the apron which has a 12-volt socket and USB-C charging port. Whereas, on the right side of the apron, it has a small 4.5-litre storage compartment. This scooter has a spacious under-seat storage of 37.6 litres.
BMW C400 GT 2025: Suspension and Braking System
The new BMW C400 GT has telescopic forks at the front and preload adjustable twin rear shock absorber suspension for comfortable riding. For braking, it has twin disc brakes with dual channel ABS at the front and single disc brake at the rear.
For riding, 15-inch front and 14-inch rear alloy wheels have been provided on which 120-section and 150-section tubeless tyres are mounted. The fuel tank capacity of this scooter is 12.8 litres. Its seat height is 765 mm, while its kerb weight is 219 kg.
