The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will start from 1st June which will be played till 29th June. This time the team of America and West Indies is organizing the T20 World Cup. What is the format of the T20 World Cup 2024
Let us tell you that this time the hosts are the West Indies and USA. Where will the T20 World Cup matches be played. This time 20 teams are participating in the T20 World Cup. T20 World Cup 2024 will be played from June 1 to June 20. All 20 teams have been divided into 4 groups of 5-5. The top 2 teams of each group will reach the Super 8.
After this, 8 teams have to play matches in the Super 8 round. In the Super 8 also, the teams will be placed in two groups with 4-4. In the Super 8, the top 2 teams from both groups will reach the semi-finals. Two semi-final matches will be played. After this, the team winning the semi-final match will play the final match among themselves.

The matches of the 2024 T20 World Cup are going to be played at 9 places. Apart from Dallas and Bridgetown, matches will be held in Providence, New York, Lauderhill, North Sound, Gros Islet, Kingstown and Tarouba. What will happen if the T20 World Cup 2024 match is tied
If the T20 World Cup matches are tied, then the decision will be made by a super over. If the super over is also tied, then super overs will be played until the match is decided.
What will happen if it rains?
If rain interrupts the match, then first of all an attempt will be made to decide by using the Duckworth-Lewis rule. Some conditions have also been kept for DLS. DLS will be used for the group stage and super-8 only when both teams have played a match of at least 5 overs. Apart from this, it is mandatory for both teams to play a match of at least 10 overs in knockout matches. Reserve day has been kept for the first semi-final and final
Apart from the 190 minutes of extra time for the first semi-final and final of the tournament, a reserve day has been kept under special circumstances, but only 250 minutes of extra time has been kept for the second semi-final. This has been done so that the team winning the second semi-final does not have to play the match the next day. The final is on June 29 and the second semi-final match will be played on June 27. Therefore, the team can travel and reach its venue on June 28.
