135 Days Long Bharat Jodo Yatra Finally Marks its End on Martyrs Day!!

Rahul Gandhi led Bharat Jodo Yatra Finale show amid harsh weather conditions in Srinagar. During the campaign, Rahul Gandhi and other party leaders along with a huge group of people attended the rally. Bharat Jodo Yatra started from the Southern tip of the country Kanyakumari on September 7. The journey ends on January 30 at the Northern tip of the country.

The main agenda of the Bharat Jodo Yatra campaign was to bring the nation together. The campaign covered 3970 km during its 135 days duration. It went through 12 states and 2 Union territories during this time. During this period, Rahul Gandhi conducted over 100 corner meetings and 13 press conferences.  Rahul also conducted 275 planned walking interactions to cover up the agenda of the campaign without wasting any time. Moreover, he also attended 100 sitting interactions as well.

Bharat Jodo Yatra Finale 

Rahul Gandhi along with other politicians and supporters conducted Bharat Jodo Yatra Finale despite heavy snowfall in Srinagar. The meeting started with flag hosting at the party office in Srinagar. Kashmiri leaders including Mehbooba Mufti and Farooq Abdullah gave speech in open ground during heavy snowfall. The Congress Party also organized a mega rally at Sher-I-Kashmir Cricket Stadium.

21 opposition parties were invited for the Bharat Jodo Yatra Finale ceremony. However, most of them couldn’t make it to the event as flights were cancelled due to harsh weather conditions. Srinagar-Jammu Highway was also forced to shutdown making it even more difficult to connect the northern part of the country. Flights were cancelled due to heavy snowfall and low visibility.
