How Bhai Dooj started
When Yam was bidding farewell to his sister Yamuna, his sister asked him for one thing. Yamuna had said that you should come to my house every year on this day. From here Bhai Dooj started and every year on the Dwitiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month, brothers started going to their sisters’ house and getting tilak done.
Story of Bhaiya Dooj
