Beer Brand Goes Eco-Friendly, Creates World’s First Recyclable Paper Beer Bottle!

When Lord Ram talked about Kalyuga, not in our wildest dreams did we think that he was talking about times when liquor companies would set a better example for caring for the environment than our Judiciary!

If you know what I mean! *Wink*

Anyway, without beating around the bush further, let me tell you, in a rather considerate move of going eco-friendly and cutting back on pollution caused by used beer bottles, Carlsberg is set to launch recyclable paper beer bottles.

One more reason to drink beer eh?

Attention to detail, the beer company made the official announcement at the C40 World Mayors Summit in Copenhagen, on Friday.

They are calling paper bottles “Green Fibre” which are made from sustainably sourced wood fibres. They are currently working on two prototypes of the bottle.

Working on the recycling part, the company is making efforts to make bottles made entirely of bio-materials (materials like forest and agricultural waste), which are 100% renewable, which can be burned or recycled and will not add to carbon dioxide emissions.

Perhaps the first liquor company which is worthy of their tagline ‘Probably the best beer in the world’.

They are testing the prototypes and if all goes according to plan, you’ll be soon sipping beer from eco-friendly beer bottles and feel a pang of proud about your “contribution to saving the environment”

Now that I think about it, it struck me hard now, even the liquor is going eco-friendly and since a whole lot is still ignorant, will there be any life left to sip beer from ‘eco-friendly’ bottles?
