After Kriti And Kiara, BCCI Selected Two South Actresses to Perform In IPL 2023 Opening Ceremony

On 4th March 2023, the grand opening ceremony of WPL (Women’s Premier League) took place at DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai. Popular Bollywood actresses Kriti Sanon and Kiara Advani performed the dance sequel at the event.

Now, it’s time to organise the opening ceremony of IPL 2023. And as per the latest updates, BCCI approached south actresses Rashmika Mandanna and Tamannaah Bhatia to perform a dance at the event.

The reports also suggest that the event will take place in Ahmedabad on 31st March 2023. The news was also confirmed by the insider source of BCCI. Read what he said here:

Rashmika Mandanna and Tamannaah Bhatia Are Likely to Perform At the Opening Ceremony of IPL 2023

In a recent interview with InsideSport, a senior BCCI official said, “yes, there will be an opening ceremony on the 31st. It will be a short one but as the home and away format returns, we felt it was necessary to welcome back the home crowd with a ceremony.”

Thereafter, the source also claimed that the south actresses Rashmika Mandanna and Tamannah Bhatia are the first choice of the management.

Apart from this, the first match of IPL 2023 will be played on 31st March 2023 between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. But this time, there have been some major changes as you cannot watch the live match on Disney+ Hotstar.

Another OTT platform Jio Cinema has recently purchased its rights. Now, every Jio user can watch IPL matches for free online. It will be available in various languages, such as English, Hindi, Kannada, Telegu, Tamil and Bengali.
