There is also such a car inside the country, the price is only Rs 3.61 lakh. The name of this car is Bajaj Qute. This is an electronic cycle class car. Its old recording is being done inside the country. This is also India’s first auto passport. The company has prepared a new format for its design. Its new design design has come to the fore. The company had released its listing on 13 December 2024. Let us tell you that its price is even less than Maruti Alto.
Bajaj Qute Change in central design
This car was launched in the Indian market in 2019. At the same time, Qute was first introduced in 2012. The first-generation Qute used to perform better with a more practical cabin configuration. Some oddities are evident in the first generation cutter such as the speedometer and gear launched in the center. It can also be established as a bit strange and obsolete in the uninitiated philosophy. Data for the year 2024 shows that electric 3-rollers account for around 56% of total 3-roller sales in the country.
Next-gen Bajaj Qute – what to expect?
Since the Qute is positioned as an affordable taxi option, it is unlikely that there will be any major changes in the equipment list. But there is some scope for improvement in the exterior. The next-gen Qute may feature a refreshed bumper design and lighting setup. A more attractive design may be useful to attract customers, but it is not certain whether it is on the agenda.
It remains to be seen whether the Qute will continue with the existing platform or use a new or modified version. Because the 3-wheeler segment has adopted electrification in a big way, Bajaj may also think of an electric version of the Qute. Data from CY2024 shows that electric 3-wheelers account for around 56% of total 3-wheeler sales in the country. This means that one out of every two 3-wheelers sold in India is an electric vehicle.
The first-generation Bajaj Qute uses a 217cc, MPI petrol engine. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Bi-fuel options are available with both LPG and CNG. When running on LPG, the maximum power output is 12.44 PS. In CNG mode, the power output is 11 PS. Assuming the next-generation Qute is launched, it will continue to offer similar mileage figures as a 3-wheeler.
