The New Bajaj Pulsar RS is Coming: Bajaj Auto has released a teaser of a new motorcycle in the popular Pulsar range. It has been posted on the company’s social media, which gives a glimpse of the new bike. This bike with full fairing can be a new model of the RS brand. It is being speculated that it will be a refreshed RS200 or it can also be a new RS400. The company can also launch this motorcycle at the India Mobility Global Expo to be held in January 2025.

If the teased motorcycle is an updated RS200, then many upgrades can be done to make the model modern. At the same time, this teased motorcycle can also be Bajaj RS400 and it can be an extension of the RS lineup. Bajaj NS400Z was first launched in 2024, so its platform can be used in the new RS400.

If this new motorcycle is going to be a Bajaj Pulsar RS200, then the company will use modern features in it. Talking about the upgrade, it can get a fully digital instrument console, which can support Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.

It will use the existing 199.5cc, single-cylinder engine, which produces 24.16bhp of power at 9,750rpm and 18.7nm of torque at 8,000rpm. However, the company can improve the handling and riding quality of this motorcycle.

For example, USD front forks can be included in this bike, which can increase stability and give the bike a more premium appeal. However, these updates may also lead to a slight increase in price, which will allow the RS200 to compete with rivals like the Yamaha R15 V4 and Hero Karizma XMR.

If the upcoming motorcycle is the Bajaj RS400, it will strengthen the company’s RS brand portfolio and expand the company’s fully-faired segment. Bajaj could carry forward the platform of the recently launched Bajaj NS400Z.

If the company introduces it, the RS400 will use the same 373cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine as the NS400Z, which produces 39.45bhp of power at 8,800rpm and 35Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. The engine will likely be mated to a six-speed gearbox.

In terms of features, the Bajaj RS400 could get switchable traction control and multiple ride modes. The bike could get LED lighting as well as hardware like USD front forks and a gas-charged rear mono-shock. For braking, disc brakes will be used at the front and rear, which will come with dual-channel ABS.
