Bachelorette Season 21 finally ended today but it gives viewers a very twisting and not-so-satisfying ending. Jenn Tran made history by becoming a lead of the Bachelorette.
She was so excited that she expressed her feelings on Instagram “ What A Dream” and “I can not begin to explain how grateful I am and how surreal this all feels. I’d like to thank my friends and family for supporting me through my journey to this point,” the 26-year-old continued. “Without them, I would not have the strength and courage to do any of this. Also, FIRST ASIAN BACHELORETTE?! You have no idea how much this moment means to me.”
In the season finale moment, she was left with two men, one is military veteran Marcus and the other is businessman Devin. But who she chooses is a really difficult choice for her.
Her heart belongs to Marcus, but in the meanwhile Devin promises all the other things that a woman needs in her relationship.
But how did things end up, did she finally get engaged? Here is the spoiler alert of the season.

Bachelorette Season 21: Devin Strader Knows About His Personal Life
Devin Strader a sporty hunk, is the final two choice of Jenn Tran. A 28-year-old boy is a native of Houston, Texas. He also stays in New York for a short period of time.
He attended Lousiana State University from 2014 to 2019, where he pursued business planning, sales management, communication, and public speaking.
He is a proud businessman, who owns a freight company, named F1 Freight Consultant. He worked as the vice president of the acquisition at Shark Logistics starting his own Business.
His hobby is running and participated in a relay race with his friend. He also liked his dog Charlie a lot.
Bachelorette Season 21: Marcus Shoberg Knows All About His Personal Life
Marcus Shoberg is a military veteran who has been the constant in the heart of Jane Tran since the beginning of the show. Marcus served in the U.S. Army for eight years but took retirement due to a medical condition when he was severely injured in 2017 in Afghanistan when a grenade detonated near his feet in a special operation.
Marcus spent months in recovery and underwent six surgeries. He studied Computer Science at Harvard University and prioritized his mental health. Marcus is the founder of Falkore Technologies, a Data analysis company that creates custom AI models.
His personal hobbies are rock climbing. He climbs up to Mount Adams Summit, Smith Rock State Park, and Mount Rainier Summit.
He is extremely obsessed with Space and wants to learn all about astrophysics.
Bachelorette Season 21 Finale: Devin and Marcus Finally Met the Family of Jenn
Devin First Met with the Jenn Tran’s Family
Devin is confident about meeting with the family of Jenn Tran, her mother, aunt, brother, and close friend. He was a bit scared though to tell her family how much Jane meant to both of them.
He said “I knew that I was going to have these conversations with her family and that scares me that they may not see it with Jenn and I,”
And you know, this is one of those moments where I am doubting myself but I do know one thing for sure and I don’t see this world without Jenn in my life,”
Jenn’s mother Trinh however isn’t so sure, that they did not spend much time together to commit to themselves in an engagement so soon. But Jenn’s brother James said he is not ready to give Devin a blessing because he has to meet Marcus first.
Marcus Met With the Jenn’s Family
Jenn was highly nervous about Marcus because he didn’t profess his love to Jenn till now, although he kept feelings for her.
Jenn said before their second last date “I don’t know if my family is going to buy into our relationship,” “Hopefully Marcus has had some time to think, and if I get an ‘I love you’ from Marcus today, it’s going to change everything.”
Marcus was determined to meet his family and said to the producer earlier “I’m not in love with her right now but I do have strong feelings for her and I do see a future with us, but I also have uncertainty and reservations. And trying to explain that to them so close to a potential proposal is going to be a difficult thing.”
Marcus finally met with the family, when Jenn’s mother asked about his feelings he said “he wasn’t certain, but that his feelings for Jenn were real. He thought it would be “possible” to get to that next step.”
Jenn’s brother said that he is concerned for his sister as she always falls towards men, who are emotionally unavailable for her, she always chooses those patterns.
Bachelorette Season 21: Jenn Tran’s Last Date With Devin and Marcus
The 24 hours left before the final proposal of The Bachelorette season 21, Jenn and both men have a chance to go on the last romantic date with her.
Jenn Tran’s Last Date With Devin
Jenn Tran and Devin both are in a space to profess their love to one another. They both go on a spiritual date, where Devin gives Jenn a Jade necklace.
Jenn was highly emotional and touched on this date. But still, her mind was attached to Marcus.
Jenn’s Final Date With Marcus
Jenn went into the final date with Marcus, who is still not ready to go on a long relationship. Before their final date, Jenn went to the Marcus Hotel room.
She directly confronted and said “ There is an engagement tomorrow and I don’t know what that means to you. I don’t know where your head is at,” “I know you keep saying that you’re hopeful for it and that you want to get there with your feelings but it’s like, we’re running out of time.”
Marcus said “At the end of the day, like I know that I love you,”.“I want to be the type of person that fights for it. Like I want to do this with you. I want to give it a try. You know, I don’t want to give up on us.”
Jenn finally realized she was done with Marcus and it was a waste of time for her to put all her energy into one relationship, where she didn’t get what she needed.
The Unprecedented Ending for Jenn Tran at the Bachelorette Season 21
Jenn Tran wants to propose to Devin instead of Him in the final proposal. She said “I’ve always in the past let the guys dictate the terms of the relationship and dictate my emotions and my feelings and my choices and I’m done doing that,” she told Palmer. “I just want to make a gesture so that he can really know where my love is. I want him to know that I’m going to fight for him every day and I’m going to choose him every day.”
But the show didn’t air the final proposal and in the finale, Jenn revealed the unexpected incident that shocked the audience that their relationship ended one month after the final proposal.
She said while crying “It was the happiest day of my life. I thought that I found the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with…and then I think essentially like as soon as we left Hawaii, things were just like different. It kind of felt like he was just pulling away. I promised my life to somebody that I thought was going to put every effort into the relationship and I just feel that.”
Devin called her before the private gateway trip that he was ending his relationship with her.
“He basically said that he didn’t love me anymore and didn’t feel the same way and felt like something had been off since the second that he proposed. He regretted getting engaged and I didn’t know…For the past month, I’ve been trying to empathize with the way he had been feeling, trying to wrap my head around why he could switch up like that.”
When they face each other in the finale she said to Devin that you followed on Instagram Maria Georgas a month after their breakup. Despite I am crying every day.
And ABC channel aired the final proposal day which angered the audience because it hurt Jane’s feelings.
Devin said in his response about following Maria “ “I think this is a little different than the conversation I was hoping to have with you,” he said. “Am I not allowed to live a life?”
It’s definitely a shocking ending where Jenn didn’t get any of the men for her life.
