Luxury carmaker Audi has confirmed the launch of the Audi RS Q8 Facelift in India on February 17. It is a sporty version of the Audi Q8 SUV, which has been on sale in India since last year.
The updated Audi RS Q8 was introduced globally in June 2024 in Standard and Performance 2 variants. Its new version can see changes in the exterior and interior design. The Audi RS Q8 facelift can have a bolder design than the current model. It can get a new black grille with an updated 3D honeycomb pattern, carbon fiber elements on the front lip and air vents. LED matrix headlights and OLED taillights can also be provided for better visibility during driving. Along with 22-inch alloy wheels, 23-inch wheels can also be given as an option.
Audi RS Q8 Facelift Interior
A new design can be seen in the cabin of Audi RS Q8 Performance. It can come with Sport Seats Plus, which will be extra supportive and comfortable with Race-Tex upholstery. Dual-screen center console and RS drive mode can also be seen in it. Four-zone climate control can also be seen in it for a comfortable cabin environment. Active roll stabilization, all-wheel steering, adaptive air suspension, and new Quattro Sport Differential Body Roll can also be seen in it.
Powertrain of the Audi RS Q8 facelift
The range-topping Performance trim gets a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that generates 631bhp and 850Nm of torque, which is 39bhp and 50Nm more than the regular Audi RS Q8 SUV.
Audi RS Q8 Facelift Engine
The cabin layout of this luxury car is centered around the driver, with a dual-screen center console that offers easy access to the RS drive modes, and 4-zone climate control is also available.
It is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. With this, the Performance variant is capable of accelerating from 0-100km/h in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 305km/h.
Expected Price of Audi RS Q8 Facelift
The Audi RS Q8 Performance in India will compete with high-performance SUVs like the Lamborghini Urus SE and the Porsche Cayenne GTS. Talking about the price, considering that the Audi Q8 is priced at Rs 1.7 crore, the German carmaker is expected to price the Audi RS Q8 Performance around Rs 2 crore (ex-showroom).
