Millions of workers have returned to their homes due to the Corona crisis and lockdown. Now the workers who have returned to the state, the goverment has launched a scheme for them.
On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the ‘Atma Nirbhar Uttar Pradesh Rojgar Abhiyan‘ of the UP government. The state government claims that about 1.25 billion laborers will get employment under this scheme.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that we have seen ups and downs in our lives, there are many kinds of difficulties in social life. Nobody thought that such a big crisis will come together on the whole world, such a crisis in which people are unable to help even if they want to.
PM Modi said that we do not know when we will get rid of this pandemic. Meanwhile, our government has started the Garib Kalyan Rozgar Abhiyan, under this the UP Aatmanirbhar Abhiyaan is going on. PM said that Yogi ji has converted disaster into opportunity, it will benefit people a lot.

This scheme is applicable to 116 districts with a limited list of works as of now for 125 days. Later it can be extended, said by officials.
