Mohammed Shami has been given an arrest warrant by the Kolkata court. During the time period of 15 days, he has to apply for a bail otherwise he will be arrested.

Indian star cricketer Mohammed Shami has been accused of domestic violence by his estranged wife Hasin Jahan.
The Indian cricketer now has 15 days to either apply for bail, if he fails to do so, he will be arrested.
Under IPC section 498A a case has been registered against Shami and his brother for domestic violence.

Recently Shami is playing second and final test against the West Indies. He also played a key role during the World Cup 2019.
After Hasin Jahan made an allegation on Shami and he did not appear in the court. Following this, the ACJM gave the order.
Shami is one of the most celebrated cricketers of India. In an interview with India Today he said:
“I hope everything remains fine. Whatever is the outcome, I am ready to face it. Cricket life mein hai to sab Kuch hai (cricket remains everything in life). That is the only thing I am bothered about. I don’t care about the allegations or what will happen eventually. Right now, I am not thinking even zero per cent about it. I won’t let it affect me,”.

His wife was also arrested in 2019 in Amroha after creating a ruckus but was released on bail.
