Recently, Apple has announced that its Health Records feature on the iPhone will anytime soon be available to the military veterans. This will be the first time that American veterans will receive care through the Veterans Health Administration.

In the official blog of Apple, it explained that Health Records would allow the entire United States veterans to see their medical information from participating institutions organized into one separate view all in the Health app on the iPhone.

This added element, built in collaboration with the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), will allow more than 9 million veterans access combined medical records.

The data will involve information about allergies, conditions, immunizations, laboratory outcomes, medications, procedures, and vitals. Apple insisted that all of this data is encrypted and protected with iPhone passcode, Touch ID, or Face ID.
