The Coronavirus outbreak has led the world into a panic. PM Narendra Modi on Thursday addressed the nation and appealed to have Janta Curfew on Sunday from 7 am to 9 PM.
The decision was made as a preventive measure and maintain social distancing, keeping more and more people in quarantine.

The number of cases is increasing day by day in India and it is very important that we follow preventive measures during the Pandemic.
He also asked people to gather in their balconies on March 22 at 5 pm to applaud the unsung heroes who are working to overcome the global outbreak of Coronavirus.

Soon after PM Modi’s video went viral on Twitter many people came together to appreciate the decision.
Industrialist Anand Mahindra took it to Twitter to applaud Modi’s wise decision:

PM Modi also appealed to the audience to postpone surgery if they are not urgent and avoid visiting hospitals for regular check-ups.
“If you have an appointment for any non-essential surgery, please postpone it for one month. We should keep in mind that pressure should not come to hospitals,”
